Historic 1910 Frederick Heath House in Tacoma, Washington
The house is full of original mahogany wainscot and wood floors. Two of the fireplaces in the house are original and beautifully preserved. An original handpainted mural by Marshall Fields graces the walls of the dining parlor. The mural depicts a beautiful midwestern countryside in "Fall." It's truly amazing! The third floor of this home has been converted in to a master suite with an office space bathroom and lovely view of the Puget Sound from the north window. From the west window you can see the Olympic Mountain range.
The basement level of the home is a fully finished, two bedroom M-I-L apartment with a fireplace and full size windows. It certainly does not feel like a basement apartment!
Also in the lower level is a theatre room. This room has a huge movie screen and the retro movie machine in the ceiling shows any kind of movie you may have; dvd, vhs, or film.
The kitchen in the main house is adorable! It has a great retro/period look, lighted cabinets, two ovens and a fabulous retro, working, range.
