Major Renovations

This house has survived relatively unchanged from its original floor plan.

A walk-in shower was added to the first floor bathroom, which abutted what we assume was a typical recessed back porch off the kitchen.

The house has had many boarders over the years, so minor accomodations were made for privacy. The dining room was used as bedroom for a time, so the back part of it, including the doors to the hallway and kitchen, was partitioned into a hallway.

The front porch was framed in and covered with siding in the 1980's or 90's, to 'keep the bums off,' according to one previous owner. The porch has since been uncovered.
