Beautiful all brick victorian home

Frank Brewster built this beautiful home in 1897 for his family. It was built in a typical fashion for the day with 18 thick walls with air spaces between the courses of brick for insulation purposes. The house is trimmed inside with ordnate oak woodwork and hardwood floors. A large room has been added to the back of the house. The home has been featured on the Historic Homes Tour and the Christmas Tour. (A Guide to Historic Homes in Independence, Ks.)
