The Ward House is a Queen Anne Victorian built in 1893. The home has wrap-around porches on two floors, 4,200 heated square feet and has been completely restored. The home is located approximately one hour northwest of Houston in the growing community of Sealy located on I-10.

The Ward House main hallways are papered in a beautiful Stroheim & Romann wallpaper.

The parlor ceiling is papered using 8 different patterns.


The ceiling is decorated with 8 different patterns of wallpaper and has a beautiful antique fixture.

The butler's pantry is located between the dining room and kitchen and provides lots of storage for china, silver and table linens.

The kitchen is in it's original location and contains a mix of antique free-standing cabinets and new custom built-ins.

The kitchen opens into the back parlor which was added in 2007. The back parlor is 19' x 23' and has nine insulated Andersen windows.

This upstairs bedrooms has a large walk-in closet and a large private bath with a 6' clawfoot tub original to the house.

There is a bedroom downstairs with a large walk-in closet and bath. This bedroom has a gas fireplace.

The Ward House - an 1893 Queen Anne Victorian in Sealy, TX
The Ward House was owned by the Ward family from the time it was built until 2006. The house underwent a complete restoration which was completed in 2008.The house has 12' ceilings on both floors, a small finished attic and a cupola measuring 11' x 11. The woodwork is original and has never been painted.
The heating and air conditioning system was installed in 2007. A new 50-year roof was installed in 2007. The house has all new electrical and plumbing. The house is beautiful throughout.
The home is located in a quiet neighborhood in a growing community approximately one hour from Houston.
